There are a variety of ways to process and render geophysical data. Some are proprietary and are designed specifically to process data derived from company specific instrument models while others are more adaptable for use on other data. They all have data manipulation and model rendering differences which present further considerations in the presentation of geophysical data. Presented below are some commonly used software packages used to process and render geophysical data.
